Lisa Miller, CPA is a tax manager in the Private Client Services practice at RSM US LLP. She focuses on income tax compliance and planning for small businesses, business owners, and high net worth individuals. Lisa previously was a “work-at-home mom” for 16 years, where she divided her time between taking care of family and doing bookkeeping, payroll, and income tax compliance for a small group of clients. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Taxation at Arizona State University.

In addition to her tax work, Lisa is a regional leader for her firm’s LGBTQ2+ affinity group, which includes members in Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and several California offices. As a parent of two LGBTQ2+ individuals, both who have struggled with mental health issues, Lisa has seen first-hand the struggles that families have in getting appropriate mental health care for their children, even coming from a privileged middle-class family
